2 Things You Must Know About OVERLORD SEASON 4

In 2019, the producers of the “Overlord” series, which is being broadcast by Crunchyroll from July 2018, said at a convention in Germany that the fourth season would be launched next year. But It was not so. The coronavirus pandemic caused delays in anime releases and forced Overlord to wait. And it turns out that this will not happen until 2021! What is the plot of Overlord season 4?

According to the plot revealed by The Truth News, the fourth season of Overlord will focus on two new characters named Enri and Nphirea. They are faced with a great challenge when they enter the Great Tomb of Nazarik in order to find their lost friends!  On one hand, both children must fight against powerful monsters that seem determined to play with them. And on the other hand, each of these creatures possesses some incredible abilities, something that makes Enri’s party face some very difficult odds. However, what makes this situation even more dangerous is that someone or something has removed all their memories. But at least there is some light at the end of this dark tunnel:  both characters will be accompanied by a new member in their team, who is none other than the famous and powerful magician Ainz.

And among his most impressive skills we can highlight: 

– The ability to summon an army of monsters.  

– The power to change shape so fast that it confuses his opponents.   

When will the next Overlord season be launched?

The producers of this anime also confirmed that Overlord Season 4 would premiere on Netflix in 2021.  

This was stated at the convention held in Germany on August 3 last year. Where they had already said that they were working on new scripts for the fourth season. However, it seems that there are some obstacles along the way, as was announced through a tweet from Crunchyroll’s official Twitter account: “Unfortunately, we have some bad news to bring you today… “Overlord Season 4 has been delayed and will not be coming out next year. We know that this is quite disappointing and that there is no new information on when it might come out. Please bear with us for the time being, but we hope to see you soon.” The tweet can be found, in its original form, on Crunchyroll’s Twitter page.
